Dear All,
With the
recent Government announcement on the easing of restrictions being based on the
world revolving around a Monday to Friday existence, competitive angling can
recommence from Monday March 29th which means the first shore competition will
be April 17th, just missing the proposed comp on March 27th!!! Additional dates
may be added to the calendar and will be notified with sufficient notice for
those who need to arrange time off.
Whilst fishing seems
to be very much in the doldrums at the moment now is the time to service reels,
replace damaged rod eyes and tie a few new rigs. Please support local tackle
shops who are offering click and collect and pay this year’s subs which at £10
offers excellent value.
Fishing is still permitted with current restrictions in
place but with the continued wet and stormy weather beach erosion, cliff falls
and access closures are ongoing risks.
